1. Overview

Welcome to Nalitees. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain—in clear, simple language—how you may use nalitees.com (the “Website”), what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. The Website is operated by Nalitees (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms as well as our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or buy our products. Service Area: Our store proudly serves customers Worldwide (including North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia).

2. Use of the Website

Use the Website in a lawful and respectful way. Do not try to break the site, copy code or content without permission, post harmful files, or access anyone’s account or our systems without authorization.

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your country) to place an order.

• Account Security: If you create an account, keep your password safe and tell us right away if you think someone else accessed it. You are responsible for all activity on your account until you tell us about any unauthorized use.

3. Products, Pricing, and Natural Wood Disclaimer

We sell solid wood furniture, specifically Thick Floating Shelves and Tree-Shaped Bookcases. We try to show accurate photos, descriptions, dimensions, and finishes. However, please note:

• Natural Materials Vary: Solid wood is a natural living material. Variations in grain pattern, knots, texture, and color tones are inherent characteristics and are not considered defects. No two pieces are exactly alike.

• Handcrafted Tolerances: Minor size tolerances may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our woodwork.

• Screen Colors: Your screen may show colors slightly differently from the real wood finish.

• Care Instructions: Wood reacts to its environment. Do not expose products to long periods of direct sun, high humidity, or standing water.

• Pricing: Prices are in USD. We reserve the right to change prices or discontinue products at any time without notice. If we find a pricing error on an order, we reserve the right to cancel it and refund you in full.

4. Ordering, Payment, Taxes (DDP Policy)

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We accept your order when we send an order confirmation.

• Payment: We accept the payment methods listed at checkout. We do not store full card numbers.

• Currency: All transactions are processed in USD.

• Global Taxes & Duties (DDP): Unlike many other international stores, Nalitees operates on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis.

  • We Pay the Tax: We cover all Import Duties, VAT, and Customs Taxes for you.

  • No Hidden Fees: The price you pay at checkout is final. You are not responsible for paying extra fees to the carrier upon delivery.

• Cancellations: You can cancel an order within 12 hours of purchase. Once the order has entered our “Ready-to-Ship” process (tracking generated), it cannot be canceled.

5. Shipping and Delivery (Heavy Furniture)

Please review our Shipping Policy for full details.

• Freight/Heavy Shipping: Our Tree-Shaped Bookcases are heavy. Carriers may require a signature upon delivery.

• Phone Number: You must provide a valid phone number. If the carrier cannot contact you to arrange delivery, the package may be returned to us.

• Inspection: When your order arrives, inspect the boxes before signing. If you see damage, note it on the delivery paperwork and take photos. Tell us within 72 hours so we can send a replacement.

• Refused Delivery: If you refuse a shipment, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs to the USA, which will be deducted from your refund.

6. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Our Return & Refund Policy explains eligibility in detail. Key points:

• 30-Day Window: We accept returns within 30 days of delivery.

• Condition:

  • Shelves: Must be unused and free of screw marks.

  • Bookcases: Must be disassembled and repacked in the original carton.

• Return Shipping: Unless the item is defective or damaged upon arrival, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to our US warehouse in Colorado.

• Non-Refundable Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Additionally, because we pay taxes on your behalf (DDP), the portion of the cost used for taxes is non-recoverable.

7. Intellectual Property and Your Content

All content on the Website—text, images, graphics, logos—belongs to Nalitees and is protected by law. You may not copy or reuse it without written permission. If you share reviews or photos with us, you give Nalitees a license to use that content in our marketing (emails, social media) with credit where practical.

8. Warranties, Safety, and Installation (Critical)

We want you to enjoy your furniture safely.

• Installation Responsibility:

  • Floating Shelves: Must be mounted into wall studs or using heavy-duty anchors suitable for your specific wall type (drywall, brick, concrete). We are not responsible for damage to walls or injury caused by improper installation.

  • Tree Bookcases: TIP-OVER HAZARD. You must permanently secure this furniture to the wall using the provided anti-tip hardware. Serious injury or death can occur if furniture tips over.

• Disclaimer: Except for express warranties provided, we disclaim implied warranties. We are not liable for damage or injury caused by misuse, improper assembly, or failure to follow safety instructions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Nalitees is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, property damage not caused by us). Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the product. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control (weather, strikes, customs holds).

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws listed below, and you may bring a claim in the courts of:

• United States: Laws of the State of Colorado.

• International Customers: You may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence (e.g., EU/UK consumer laws), which are not excluded by these Terms where applicable.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms to reflect changes in our products or laws. We will post the new version here and change the “Effective Date” date. Continued use of the website means you accept the updated Terms.
