Return & Refund Policy

At Nalitees, we stand behind the solidity and craftsmanship of our wood products. We inspect every shelf and bookcase before it leaves our facility. However, we understand that sometimes a piece might not fit your space as envisioned.

Our policy is designed to be fair and transparent, outlining clear guidelines for global returns of heavy furniture.

1. Return Window

We accept return requests within 30 days of delivery.

• If 30 days have passed since your order arrived, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a refund, items must be returned in Original Condition:

• Thick Floating Shelves: Must be unused, free from screw marks, scratches, or stains. All mounting hardware (brackets, screws) must be included.

• Tree-Shaped Bookcases:

  • Must be Disassembled: We cannot accept assembled furniture. It must be taken apart and securely repacked in the original flat-pack carton.

  • Hardware: All screws, tools, and manuals must be included.

• Packaging: Items must be returned in their original protective packaging to prevent damage during the return journey.

3. Return Scenarios

A. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Item (Our Fault)

If your order arrives damaged (cracked wood, bent brackets) or is the wrong item, Nalitees takes full responsibility.

• Reporting: Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. Contact us within 72 hours with photos of the damage.

• Resolution (Your Choice):

  • Free Replacement (Priority): We will send a replacement part or a brand new unit immediately at no cost.

  • Full Refund: We will issue a 100% refund (including your original shipping fee).

B. Change of Mind (Your Choice)

If the item is in good condition but you decide it doesn’t fit your decor:

• Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to our warehouse.

  • International Warning: Shipping heavy wood furniture internationally is very expensive. Please consider this before purchasing.

• Refund Amount: We will refund the Product Price only.

  • Original Shipping Fees Non-Refundable: The flat shipping rate you paid (e.g., $29.99 or $150.00) is non-refundable.

  • Free Shipping Deduction: If your order qualified for Free Shipping, we will deduct the actual shipping cost we incurred from your refund amount.

  • Tax & Duty Note: Since Nalitees pays Import Duties/Taxes on your behalf (DDP), these amounts are paid to customs and are non-recoverable. Therefore, we cannot refund the portion of the cost used to pay these taxes.

4. How to Initiate a Return

Step 1: Contact Us

Email support@nalitees.com with your Order Number and reason for return. Do not ship items back without approval.

Step 2: Pack Your Item

• Bookcases: Fully disassemble. Place hardware in a ziplock bag and tape it inside the box.

• Shelves: Wrap brackets separately to avoid scratching the wood.

Step 3: Ship & Track

Ship the item to our address (provided via email). You must use a trackable shipping service (UPS/FedEx/DHL). We are not responsible for lost return packages.

Step 4: Inspection & Refund

Once received and inspected (within 3 business days), we will process your refund to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for your bank to post the funds.

5. Cancellations

• Before Shipping: You may cancel for a full refund within 12 hours of placing the order.

• After Shipping: Since we are a Ready-to-Ship business, orders leave quickly. Once a tracking number is generated, the order cannot be canceled. You must receive the package and follow the standard Return process.

• Refused Deliveries: If you refuse delivery of a package, the return shipping cost and any customs fees charged to us for the return will be deducted from your refund.
